Welcome to

Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Sydney

Located in Chatswood on Sydney’s north shore, we are one of the worldwide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, USA. Each branch church is self-governed and democratically run to suit local circumstances.

Our church has been serving the community of Sydney’s north shore since the 1920s when the first edifice was constructed on the corner of Victor Street and Albert Avenue Chatswood. In 1990, the church moved to its current location on the corner of Albert and Anthony Streets Chatswood.

We are a friendly, diverse group who meet Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to listen, pray, sing and share gratitude to God. All are welcome at our Sunday church servicesWednesday testimony meetings, and Sunday School for young people up to 20 years of age.

A Christian Science Reading Room is located in Chatswood and another in the Sydney CBD. Here you can read the Bible or Christian Science literature, listen to music or view online talks about healing through prayer. Read more here.

We also hold public lectures throughout the year where you can learn more about Christian Science.
