Click to read

First printed in 1611, the King James Version of the Bible set a standard for the English language and for Bible translations. It has brought comfort and guidance to millions of people for generations.

Mary Baker Eddy referred to the Bible as her only textbook and referenced it many times throughout her writings.

At its core, this popular Bible inspires an understanding of God’s unfailing goodness and humanity’s innate spirituality.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy
Click to read or listen

Based on the Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures is the foundational textbook of Christian Science. It explores our relationship with God and the power of prayer in meeting all human needs.

Author Mary Baker Eddy shows how the Bible helps us understand and apply the spiritual laws of God in a reliable system of healing. Science and Health includes chapters on “Prayer,” “Marriage,” “Science, Theology, and Medicine,” and “Christian Science Practice.” The last 100 pages include personal statements from those who were healed by reading Science and Health. These healings include heart disease, cancer, cataracts, rheumatism, broken bones, deafness, and more. Even more valued by these readers was a renewed sense of God’s boundless love and their lives being reformed.

Prose Works other than Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy

Throughout this compilation, which includes sermons, articles, and correspondence with churches, Mary Baker Eddy invites readers on a journey to experience the power, grace, and promise of Christian Science.

Prose Works combines 13 of Mary Baker Eddy’s shorter books and sermons into a single publication. It also includes essays, poems, articles, and letters as well as news reports, testimonies and autobiography that provide a historical record. Prose Works continues to offer inspiration and uplift to contemporary readers.
